ByteClub knocked out
TORONTO – Internet television show ByteClub (see SCAN piece) comes to a close after a run of 17 episodes focused on Toronto-based technology startups.
The show, a recent addition to the Lifeforce TV lineup, will cease production due to a lack of sponsorship. ByteClub’s last episode features a look at CIX' 2008 Canadian Innovation Leader award winner Octopz, which develops and markets online collaboration software. Though the show’s producers say ByteClub is finished indefinitely, they are still looking for new sponsorship and could resume production at some point.
