OTTAWA – Home energy management company Energate Inc. partners with San Bruno, Calif.-based Greenbox Technologies Inc., integrating its new ZigBee-compliant smart thermostat with Greenbox’s platform to enhance the energy management capabilities for both technologies. “Energate sees Greenbox as providing critical ingredients to consumer connected solutions and together we can engage homeowners with tools to understand and control their energy costs,” says Michael Delage, Energate’s VP of business development. “We are looking forward to providing integrated solutions for our customers.” Energate recently unveiled its Consumer Connected Demand Response (CCDR) Suite at DistribuTECH 2009 in San Diego.
