$10.3-million deal to continue training troops
OTTAWA – Allen-Vanguard Corp. signs a contract with General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products to provide continuing services to US troops in Iraq. The $10.25-million add-on deal calls for the company to train military personnel in the use of radio-controlled bomb jamming equipment that the company manufactures with long-time partners such as General Dynamics and Lockheed Martin.Allen-Vanguard is currently in merger talks with Toronto-based Tailwind Financial Inc., which will refinance the debt-burden company if the deal goes through.
