McMaster prof transfers to Western

Hrymak%2C%20Dr%20Andrew66X108.JPGHAMILTON/LONDON — Dr. Andrew Hrymak (pictured left in a McMaster photo) signs on for a five-year term as dean of the faculty of engineering at the University of Western Ontario. Currently a professor at McMaster University, where he has taught for almost a quarter century, and chair of its department of chemical engineering, he assumes his new position July 1. Dr. Hrymak is director of the Walter G. Booth School of Engineering Practice and the McMaster Manufacturing Research Institute. With a BEng from McMaster and a PhD from Carnegie Mellon University, he specializes in polymer and materials processing, computational fluid dynamics, and process design and simulation.
