TVO to look at Waterloo’s changing economy

WATERLOO – TVO’s The Agenda continues its look at Ontario’s changing economy, with a stop in Waterloo in late March. Focusing on the region’s high tech sector, host Steve Paikin and crew will descend on AgendaCamp, a day-long workshop at the William G. Davis Computer Research Centre at the University of Waterloo on March 29. The forum will bring together community leaders, policymakers, members of the public and guests of The Agenda who will talk about the challenges and opportunities the Waterloo region faces as innovation increasingly becomes a major economic driver. The following day, the show will broadcast live from the Centre for International Governance Innovation. The Waterloo visit is the last in a series of five stops that have already taken The Agenda to Windsor, Sault Ste. Marie, Kingston and Thunder Bay.
