The University of Waterloo, in association with the Higher Colleges of Technology in the United Arab Emirates, officially opens its UAE Dubai Men’s College campus. The facility will initially offer programs in chemical and civil engineering, followed by financial analysis, risk management and information technology management studies in 2010. Students will spend two years at both the Men’s College and the university’s main campus, taking classes in Dubai before traveling to Canada to complete their four-year degree.
