TORONTO – Robarts Research Institute director John MacDonald (pictured) is on hand at MaRS Discovery Centre as the newest WORLDiscoveries office opens at MaRS, making the innovation hub the most recent facility to support the London, Ont.-born program focused on bringing local invention to global industries. WORLDiscoveries is a joint business and development venture developed by non-profit medical research facility Robarts, the University of Western Ontario and the Lawson Health Research Institute. Mr. MacDonald took the helm at Robarts in July 2008, bringing his experience from institutions such as McGill and the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
