TORONTO – Bio-Extraction Inc. (BioExx) raises $3,016,000 in a private placement of 5,800,000 common shares valued at $0.52 per share. Led by Canaccord Capital Corp. and with participation from Fraser Mackenzie Ltd., Loewen Ondaatje McCutcheon Ltd., and Wellington West Capital Markets Inc., the placement includes an option for the agents to sell up to 9,800,000 additional shares by the May 12 closing date. BioExx uses a patented low temperature technology to extract oil and proteins from oilseeds for global food markets.
