OTTAWA – Calian Technologies Ltd. notches new multi-year, multimillion-dollar deals for its technical and support services just days after signing a $195-million deal with the Canadian military. The company reports that its subsidiary, Calian Technology (US) Ltd., has signed contracts to continue its work with the Royal Australian Air Force’s technical liaison office in the United States. The deal, which will see the company supporting the air force’s new F/A-18 Super Hornet program, is potentially worth $18 million over 10 years. Meanwhile, Calian’s systems engineering division signs a 15-year contract worth roughly $7.5 million to run satellite gateway equipment at the unidentified customer’s Saskatoon headquarters.
