WATERLOO – Descartes Systems Group’s on-demand logistics software is selected by global supply chain management company CEVA Logistics to help it comply with business process and automation standards set by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). Descartes says the long-time customer is using Descartes Cargo 2000, along with previously deployed Descartes solutions, to increase accuracy in electronic logistics messaging while complying with Cargo 2000 certification. Cargo 2000 is an industry initiative spearheaded by IATA to standardize processes for the worldwide air cargo industry. Descartes has supported the initiative since 1998.
