Gennum, Tundra amend acquisition agreement

BURLINGTON / OTTAWA – Gennum Corporation increases its purchase offer for Tundra Gennum-cropped.JPGSemiconductor Corp. by 31%. In March, the company bid $86 million for Ottawa-based Tundra, an amount that had analysts scoffing atTundra-cropped.JPG what was deemed a “fire sale” price. Gennum’s amended offer of $112 million in cash and stock, yet to be approved by Tundra shareholders, is still at the low end of the company’s estimated value, say observers.
