Plaintree’s construction tech business reports four deals
OTTAWA – Plaintree Systems Inc.’s Triodetic structural steel division signs more than US$1 million in construction contracts in Alaska, Russia and the Canadian Arctic over the last four months. Triodetic engineers and builds structures using galvanized tubular steel frames that can accommodate uneven terrain and unstable soil conditions. The company is currently promoting the system, which can support structures up to eight feet off the ground, for use in rebuilding efforts after floods like the one that displaced thousands in New Orleans in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.
