Biz and community leader named chair of COM DEV
CAMBRIDGE – Terry Reidel is appointed
chairman of COM DEV International Inc., a designer and manufacturer of space hardware systems. He succeeds Keith Ainsworth, who remains as a director. Mr. Reidel has been a director of COM DEV since 2007. He is president of Terry Reidel Consulting and executive director and founding member of the Waterloo region’s Manufacturing Innovation Network, as well as former president and CEO of Kitchener-based Kuntz Electroplating. He had a 39-year career with Ernst and Young, from which he retired as managing partner in 2001. A lifelong resident of Kitchener-Waterloo, Mr. Reidel was named K-W citizen of the year in 2004 for his volunteer service to many community organizations, including the K-W Community Foundation, the Catholic Community Foundation, Rotary International, United Way of Kitchener-Waterloo and St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation.
