CGI revenue, profit up
MONTREAL – CGI Group Inc. reports Q2 revenue of $948.3 million, a 1.9% increase over the second quarter of 2008. Net earnings were up 12.7%, to $77.5 million from $68.8 million. CGI, one of Canada’s top IT companies, says approximately 44% of the quarter’s revenue was generated outside of Canada, up from 36% in the same quarter last year.
