DragonWave tech to benefit Burkina Faso business

dragonwave-cropped.JPGOTTAWA – DragonWave Inc.’s Horizon Compact packet microwave radios are chosen by Senegal’s Connecteo to deliver broadband services to businesses in the west African nation of Burkina Faso. “Connecteo’s deployment of the Horizon Compact expands our presence in African markets,” says DragonWave CEO Peter Allen. “Our solution’s unique combination of scalability, flexibility and resiliency has made it the Ethernet microwave radio of choice for the world’s most innovative, next-generation service providers.” The deployment will initially provide Connecteo’s enterprise customers in Burkina Faso with broadband access of up to 50 megabits per second, with the option of increasing to 400 megabits in the future.
