Enablence gear selected for new Delhi network

OTTAWA – Enablence Technologies Inc. receives a US$1 million order for optical network gear from the Delhi Telephone Enablence-logo110X48.JPGCompany. The company’s Multi Media Aggregation Node equipment will be used in a fibre-to-the-home network deployment replacing a copper-based system currently serving the east-central New York town of Delhi. “The selection by Delhi Telephone Company of Enablence equipment for all of its deployments is an excellent example of how Enablence products are playing a key role in providing rural America with fibre-to-the-home services,” says CEO Arvind Chhatbar. The initial stage of the rollout will serve 1,100 homes, while future phases are in the planning.
