More losses at VIQ

VIQ_Solutions100X54.gifMARKHAM – Audio technology firm VIQ Solutions Inc. posts a net loss of $236,479 on revenue of $2.5 million in its first quarter of 2009. In the same period last year the company had a net loss of $253,233 while doing $2.8 million in sales. Despite continued losses, the company remains positive as it moves forward with a recently signed deal. “We are pleased with our recent high-profile contract win for the provision of a multi-year digital audio recording and storage project in the United Kingdom with Atos Origin and Logica,” says president and CEO David Outhwaite. “With a solid pipeline of exciting opportunities, innovative products and top-tier global partners, we are poised for significant revenue growth as we continue our drive toward sustained profitability.”
