Polytechnics Canada appoints new boss
OTTAWA – Nobina Robinson is named CEO of Polytechnics Canada, an alliance of the country’s largest colleges and institutes of technology. Ms. Robinson represented Seneca College and its federal interests in Ottawa for the past four years. Previously, she worked for the Treasury Board Secretariat, the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, and was executive director of the Canadian Foundation for the Americas. Ms. Robinson’s credentials include a BA from Amherst College in Massachusetts, a BA and MA from Oxford, and post-graduate study at Yale. She was a Commonwealth Scholar from 1985-1988.
