PSP finds NRC support for future-soldier project
OTTAWA – Pacific Safety Products Inc. signs a contribution agreement with the National Research Council that will see the defence equipment maker get up to $500,000 through NRC-IRAP to develop a “next-generation integrated helmet system” for the Department of National Defence’s Integrated Soldier System Project. PSP will also receive technical and business advisory services from NRC. The integrated helmet system, aimed at soldier modernization programs in Canada and the US, will build on PSP’s new combat helmet impact liner, which has been tested by the US Army, DND and various special forces units.
