TORONTO – Trapeze Software Inc., a provider of intelligent transportation systems and mobile technologies, signs a supply contract with the Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) of Columbus, Ohio. The deal, which the company terms “significant,” calls for Trapeze to supply COTA with a fixed-route and paratransit ITS solution. The authority will use the solution, which includes interactive voice response capabilities and real-time “next-bus arrival” information, in conjunction with its transit enterprise system, also from Trapeze. A subsidiary of Toronto-based Constellation Software, Trapeze has hundreds of government and commercial customers across North America, Europe and Asia Pacific, according to the company.
