C-COM ships antennas to Chinese petroleum co.

C-COM138X40.jpgOTTAWA – C-COM Satellite Systems Inc. sells an unspecified number of its mobile antenna systems through channel partner Beijing Blue Satellite Communications Technology Co. to China Petroleum & Chemical Corp. The company says is has made an initial shipment of its iNetVu Mobile Flyaway Systems to the customer, which will use them for communications via satellite in such emergency situations as a pipeline leakage, gas explosion or hazardous material handling incidents. C-COM’s proprietary antennas facilitate delivery of high-speed Internet, VoIP and video to vehicles.
