Nortel sends solution to Georgia school

TORONTO – Nortel’s Hosted Nortel-152X39.JPGContact Center Solution is selected by Georgia Perimeter College, in keeping with the State of Georgia’s policy to improve communication. The company says the school purchased the system to provide its 23,500 students with convenient access to information regarding such services as enrolment, career counselling, tuition and financial services. The contact centre solution will align the college with Georgia’s strategy to provide a “consistent and positive customer experience across all public entities throughout the state,” according to Nortel. In early 2008, the Governor’s Office of Customer Service deployed a Nortel Hosted Contact Center Solution in its 1.800.georgia call center. The company says that since then, a dozen state call centers have expanded this into an enterprise-wide solution, which now handles nearly five million customer interactions a year.
