RAMTelecom sold
OTTAWA – Money-losing satellite services company RAMTelecom Inc. shuts down after completing the sale of its only operating subsidiary to OmniGlobe Networks Inc. for $2.4 million. The previously announced sale of the company’s R.A. Misener Telecom Corp. will see the asset renamed Avalite Inc., its satellite services integrated with OmniGlobe’s WiMAX and broadband business to become the Montreal-based company’s new broadband communications division in Ottawa.
