OTTAWA – Manufacturing technology provider Sciemetric Instruments appoints Lakhdip Singh Sidhu to establish and lead its branch office in India. Mr. Sidhu was previously head of sales and marketing at GM CFS India, and has held senior management positions at DURR Ecoclean, Advani Oerlikon Ltd., and Vijayjyot Seats Ltd. He holds a degree in engineering and an MBA. Sciemetric already has installations in India at Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, and is currently launching a project at Ford Chennai for the new Sigma engine.
