Wi-LAN triples revenue, declares first dividend
OTTAWA – Wi-LAN Inc. sees revenue surge to $10 million in its second quarter, more than triple fiscal 2008’s Q2 revenue of $3.2 million. The patent licencer turns a healthy profit in the three-month period, with pro forma earnings of $3.3 million (4 cents per share), a strong turnaround from last year’s Q2 loss of $540,000 (1 cent per share).
