Hydrogenics wins two deals in Europe
MISSISSAUGA – Hydrogenics Corp. secures orders for two fuel cell power solutions for renewable energy projects in Greenland and France. The hydrogen generation and products firm says both projects will use its HyPM Rack stationary systems for primary and backup power. “These are exciting developments that demonstrate the growing importance of hydrogen for energy storage and management,” says Daryl Wilson, president and CEO. “We continue to believe that renewable energy
solutions offer a large opportunity for Hydrogenics and are pursuing this market aggressively.” In Greenland, Hydrogenics’ power modules will be delivered to national energy provider Nukissiorfiit which will deploy the them as part of its H2KT initiative to assess the potential of the country’s natural hydro-generation resources. In France, the modules will be used for supplemental power at the Abalone Group, a human resources consulting firm which uses solar and wind as primary energy sources.
