OTTAWA – International Datacasting Corp. is awarded a contract to provide a next-generation satellite distribution network to SBS Broadcasting Media for two top Romanian radio broadcasters. IDC, which provides solutions for the distribution of broadband multimedia content via satellite, says SBS will incorporate the former’s SuperFlex Pro Audio system at Romanian networks MagicFM and OneFM. Luxembourg-based SBS, one of Europe’s largest broadcasters, is comprised of 15 radio networks and 7 stand-alone networks in seven markets. IDC won the contract through its European subsidiary PROFline B.V.
